R Mon RE(M) is the only Welsh Royal Engineers Regiment, and they are Royal Engineers only, right? wrong they along with all members of the Army are Soldiers first. This short video clip is a brief introduction to a training weekend where 108 (Welsh) Field Squadron (Militia) exercised their Soldier First skills. From Orders being given to patrolling, being engaged by enemy mortars, capturing the enemy and along with the local population providing Human Intelligence (Humint) a pre-dawn attack was set in motion, from the breach of the outer door to clearing the building in near darkness. R Mon RE(M) are Soldiers First.
